Today May 19th, we start are adventure. Tweety is packed and the van is packed to the hilt. The bikes are on the back and we are ready to roll. As you can see in the pics before we leave it looks packed. We had a great drive to De Soto Park in St. Pete. Up and over the Skyway bridge and you can see the large flag to the west of the bridge a few miles at De Soto Park. I went into the office to check in only one problem we are a day early and the park is full. I guess old people lose what day it is, we actulally left a day early. They said to hang around so I did and they put us on a site that is the access to the water tower.. All is well, we rode bikes about 12 miles to the north beach which has been rated the number one beach in the world in 2005. We will move to our site tomorrow. Nice place.
